Marketing Through Social Media

I decided to do my research on the company Crumbl Cookie. Comparing their social media platforms and website, they are slightly different but both communicate the same idea. Their social medias are more “unprofessional”; keep in up their what is trending, making creative posts and displaying their items in unique ways whereas their website still is very creative, but more forward and to the point. Overall though, they are still communicating what their brand is and attracting consumers.

When visiting Crumbl Cookies website page, you immediately see a clip of their newest seasonal cookie flavors. It is a short video clip, showcasing what each new cookie looks like up close and ends with their company name. The middle of the page is showing their weekly flavors for their cookies and other deserts they have available for that week. You’re able to click each deserts, view a description of the items, and reviews from other consumers. At the very bottom page of their website, the company’s contact information is linked, an order form, allergy information, and links to their social medias are displayed.

Personally, I find the form of communication that Crumbl Cookie uses very efficient and effective. The display of their website from the top of the page alone, will draw consumers in and interest them in seeing what is available for purchase. As well as their way of displaying the weekly menu, is creative and captivating; which again draws consumers in, making it easy for those just browsing for find multiple flavors of cookies or a desert they want to try out which in the end incentivizes them to make a purchase.

Through social media and their website, they identify themselves as a baking company that makes thick, chewy cookies that come in an array of unique and classic flavors. This allows them to attract consumers who want to try unique or seasonal flavors and deserts, but also attract consumers who just want something a bit more familiar and classic.

The one critique I could give for Crumbl Cookie is to make their ingredients more accessible, as someone with allergies knowing a bit more of the ingredients would be very helpful and more insightful.
